When darkness arises and hope crumbles
Engulfed in worries, faith shatters
Then through the storm, I see a light
Not too close but very bright
With a hue of love, joy and peace
The light makes my worries cease
As it comes closer and closer
I can see it is my savior Jesus Christ
He radiates His light on me
I have been set free
The darkness vanished and
My fears have perished
Today I radiate His light
To shine bright in the night
And to help others in their plight
