“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Amor Festum is a Latin phrase meaning Love Feast.  The love feast or Agape feast originated in the early Church and was a time of fellowship for believers. The Eucharist was often a part of the Love feast, although at some point the two became separate. Agape was also used by the early Christians to refer to the self-sacrificing love of God for humanity, which they were committed to reciprocating and practicing towards God and amongst one another. The true meaning of Christmas is Amor Festum and it seeks to strengthen the bonds and spirit of harmony, goodwill, and congeniality with God and others, as well as to love one another.
